Here's where you get the real dirt...So I made the decision to get into real estate in 2002.  My wife & I purchased our first home in Broadview (North Seattle) and had a completely below average experience with just about no follow up after the transaction.  I thought, "wouldn't it be cool to work as someone's agent with a focus of being as informative as possible yet making it a comfortable experience where everyone felt OK to ask questions and maybe have a little fun?"  So shortly after that, I acquired my license and began selling homes.  I had been working as a social worker (with homeless young adults) 10 years prior to that, so I saw a potential for tons of crossover between the two professions.  I thought that listening, plus the ability to understand what someone wants for themselves, rather than what I want for them could be an asset. 

So my wife, Rebecca, and I had two kids all of a sudden (Henry, born March of 2003 & Elliott, born Sept of 2004-I know, they're close in ages...but we're done now, I think) and just like that my life became more amazing than I ever thought it could be.  If you're lucky enough  to ever meet me via real estate purposes, I may be accompanied by one of the apples of my eye on random occasions.  We also have a dog named Zeke and a fuzzy cat, Sam.  After outgrowing our little Broadview home, it was off to the Whittier Heights neighborhood in Ballard where we have lived since 2005 and loved every minute!

In closing, I have lived in Seattle & the Seattle area my entire life, which is a definite plus in a real estate professional.  I love this city and enjoy being a member of our community.  Being a Realtor at Lake & Company Real Estate is a wonderful fit for me.....and my family!  Lake's tremendous reputation in the city is a joy to be a part of.  I know what there is to know about Seattle neighborhoods- ones to jump on and ones to avoid.  I have an excellent track record and I come with great references.  My belief is that the relationship between a real estate agent and a client is a lifetime relationship, not one that ends after closing on a home.  I look forward to meeting with either potential buyers or sellers and discussing how I will exceed all of your real estate expectations!
