SELLERS

Working with Danny was a stress-relieving bonus we were lucky enough to
enjoy when selling our home. Each step of the way, from pricing the
house, to preparing the house for listing and showing, to accepting
offers, to the mountains of paperwork, Danny was there. His depth of
knowledge and cool and calm attitude did much to make selling our home
an easy and even fun and interesting experience.

Danny did an excellent job of keeping us in the loop on the status of our listing all through out the process. Even when we were out of town, he worked constantly to find a buyer for us and to keep us informed. Danny's honesty and integrity gave us great comfort, enabling us to focus all of our energy on selling our home. We will work with Danny for our next real estate transaction.

(This is a letter from a client who sold and purchased homes utilizing partnered services of myself and a colleague)

Every day you are bombarded with the medias constant headlines reading, “ US Housing Market Crashes!”, or “ Foreclosure Rates at all time High so GOOD LUCK SELLING!”

And of course, with every article comes every opinion….
My wife and I after many hours of contemplation decided it was time to take a risk and try and sell our town home to take advantage of the “low home prices.”  Our neighbors townhouse had been sitting on the market for nearly 4 months with no offers and dropped in price nearly $35,000.  We knew what we were up against trying to sell our  town home in this market a week and a half  before Christmas, and knew the only way to really beat the odds was to find the right realtor who understood how to make it happen.
Once word gets out that you are interested in selling, (especially now a days) every friend you know comes knocking on your front door referring this person or that person.  So needless to say we had our fair share of agent interviews.  It’s not cheap to sell your house and you should have an agent that delivers what you are paying for, and in my opinion that is ABOVE EXCELLENT SERVICE.  We must have heard the “speech” from nearly 20 agents and were convinced that none of them had the skills to make it happen.  Even our neighbors realtor from Windermere with over 19 years in the Ballard/Seattle market could not close their deal.  Lucky for us however, we stumbled upon an agent named Sydnie Taylor from Lake Real Estate.  During the initial phone interview she mentioned that she partnered with an agent named Danny Adamson.  We decided to give them a shot and WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID.

Sydnie and Danny came to the house and we were given the royal treatment from their first breath.  Once we heard how Lake Real Estate, Sydnie and Danny work to sell the property, we were sold.  The thing that set them apart from the other agents was their realistic expectations and understanding of the importance of attention to detail.  This detail was carried throughout everything they did.  From the sign in  the front, the MLS listing, photos, Brokers Open, Open Houses etc. to sitting by our side during final title signing, Sydnie and Danny never skipped a beat.

Sydnie and Danny were able to sell our town home for $5,000 above asking price in 1 week 3 days.  Did I mention the house was sold and our offer accepted by Christmas Day.  Talk about beating the odds!
Since it was the holidays we were in California and Sydnie and Danny handled all the inspections, negotiations, discussions etc and all we had to do is say yes or no and sign a few papers.  Danny really went the extra mile even contacting us on Christmas Day to explain where we were at in the process so our holiday could be its best.
THIS KIND OF SERVICE YOU DON”T FIND EVERYWHERE!
Fast forward and now I am sitting in a beautiful home in Loyal Heights (which they negotiated about $52,000 below asking price with $4,000 closing costs) and completely in awe of what an amazing job our agents have done.  Everyone I tell has asked for a card and anyone lucky enough to work with them should feel blessed.

Danny Adamson was a fantastic realtor for the sale of our house in Ballard. He was reliable and competent and we both felt completely confident in trusting his advice around issues such as list price and the timing around accepting offers. The fliers and PR work that Danny created were top notch. We received multiple offers that were well over our asking price, and the whole sale of the house was about as painless as it probably can be. Danny also helped us with the purchase of our new home and that deal was also totally smooth. We will certainly be using Danny again the next time around.

Danny recently sold our home as we had moved out of state. We were thoroughly impressed with his effort. As we were out of town we had to handle every transaction via email, fax, phone, etc. It was great to be able to trust that Danny was taking care of our home from afar and dealing with all the little issues that come up during the selling process. Danny did a great job of keeping us informed as needed without making us anxious. We would absolutely utilize Danny's skills if the opportunity ever presents itself in the future, and recommend him to anyone who wants an honest, hard working realtor.

Thank you Danny!

"Danny was the agent my wife and I chose to sell our house and purchase a new construction home.  During both transactions Danny was professional, positive and realistic.  As a former co-worker, longtime friend and recent client of Danny's, I was thankful of the effort, energy and "do whatever it takes" attitude that he possessed throughout the selling/buying experience.  Danny really listens to what you want in a new home and understands what you want out of the home you're selling.  The purchase of our new construction home was particularly stressfull and taxing on my wife and I to the point that we almost gave up with all the red tape and innate "new construction" headaches.  Danny was there to quail our fears and in the end it was the home of our dreams."

BUYERS

For me, buying my first home was a daunting experience. I had so much advice from family and friends warning me what to do or not do that the thought of buying a house soon became an overwhelming notion. One of the best pieces of advice however, came from my sister and that was to choose Danny Adamson as my realtor.

He walked me through every step of the home buying process from choosing a location and home to sitting at the escrow office while I signed papers. In his aim to help me get into a house he answering questions about buying from a private party or auction in which he would receive no commission at all.

I found Danny to be honest and hard working, taking calls well into the evening to answer my most mundane house buying questions.

Danny has become my realtor for life and will manage the sale of this home or any future real estate purchases I have in the future.

Danny Adamson's work as a real estate agent seems like magic--except for the fact that he explains each step along the way.  He managed to find us exactly what we wanted, where we wanted it, for the price we wanted to pay.  The whole process was amazingly short on anxiety as Danny is a master-communicator.  He is a no-nonsense agent (though he's hilarious) who takes seriously his role as advocate for each client he represents.

Danny is a fantastic realtor.  He listened to what was important to us and showed us homes that fit our style.  Not only did we get updates every day on the latest homes available, but he would preview homes prior to showing them to us to make sure they were what we were looking for.  Ultimately, he got us the house we wanted for the price we wanted to pay and he made us feel like we were his only clients along the way.  We will definitely work with Danny again and refer him to our friends who are in the market.

"Buying our first home was even more stressful than my husband and I thought. Danny took the time to explain our options to us. He listened to what we wanted and showed us houses that matched our personailty and budget. We never felt pressured but when we decided to make an offer Danny was on top of it. The Seattle market moved fast for us but Dan was always one step ahead, he handled everything like a pro and we felt very comfortable working with him. We've already sent a few friends his way and they feel the same. I guess we lucked out because we will never be wondeirng who to work with in the future!"

We have known Danny for about four years now and he has this ability of pleasantly surprising you beyond the call of duty!  He has a professional, honest and kind presence from answering phone calls, dealing with not so kind others! Danny also makes sure that all is done in timely manner without any clutter and being there virtually even long after the escrow closes.  He has surprised us beyond belief.

Danny was there when we were out of the states to arrange for cleaning the house, mowing the lawn (himself!) and even being there when our out of state moving truck showed up at our new house with us being thousands of miles away.

He has acted profoundly beyond our expectations with kindness and warmth that could only be expected from a family member.

We wish him the best.

With kind regards,

Lami family.

We initially contacted Danny Adamson from Lake & Company while we were
still living in Montana.  He responded to us regularly with phone calls and email
listings so we had the opportunity to actually begin our new home search
before we made our initial move back to Seattle.  During one quick trip to
secure temporary housing Danny had almost ten properties for us to view.
Seeing these properties allowed him to get an idea of exactly what was
important to us so we wouldn't waste time looking at homes that wouldn't be a fit.

My wife and I were very motivated to find a home.  We lived in Seattle
before and we had a pretty good idea what we were looking for in a home and
warned Danny up front that we were going to be picky and most likely "high
maintenance" clients.  Even though we tried, we couldn't scare Danny away.
Danny was tenacious.  Almost every weekend he had new listings and
appointments ready for us to inspect.  When he could, he would "preview" a
home before showing us, then give us the pro's and con's before walking us
through.  When he couldn't do a preview, I appreciated his honesty when he
felt a property wasn't a fit for our family.  Several times I recall him
making comments to us when he would notice something by saying, "how do you
feel about...." or "I wanted you to notice....".  Then we were able to
discuss what we were seeing and make the final decision ourselves if it was
a deal-breaker or not.  This proved that he was thinking about us and our
investment, not just about making a quick sale.

We took several sharp turns with Danny as far as what we felt was important
in our purchase; from the importance of having a family room for my big
screen tv, to having enough parking for three vehicles.  Danny always stayed
right with us and was very accomodating to our requests.  Even though we
were disappointed when we were beat out on our first offer, Danny was very
encouraging and seemed just as driven as we were to continue the search.
After the fact we were very happy that the first offer was not accepted, we
ended up in a better home and in a better area.

We think a lot of Danny Adamson as a real estate agent and would not
hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Sincerely,

John and Lisa Buehrle in Fremont

We can not say enough good things about our realtor, Danny Adamson.  After a negative experience with a previous realtor we decided to contact Danny to help us buy our first home. We were immediately impressed by his genuine interest in our search, and by his professional demeanor.

Danny set up times to view homes just a few days after we first contacted him. Knowing that we were first time homebuyers, Danny took the time to explain the entire process to us thoroughly. He willingly answered every question we had and welcomed every single one of our calls and emails. He always got back to us quickly, and called us with regular updates during the negotiation process.

Buying a home is a daunting task and can be very stressful. Having Danny as our realtor put us at ease. He is a great listener and truly wants his clients to end up in a home that fits their needs and dreams. He also fully supports any decision you make during the whole process. Danny gave us all the information we needed to make wise decisions and represented our wishes accurately to the seller. Finding a genuine and honest realtor is not easy! Danny is truly a master at his craft.

We recommend Danny Adamson whole heartedly, and highly suggest that you contact him when looking for your next home.
